General Information
Tryouts are October 7th, 2024.
All potential athletes are required to submit a physical prior to tryouts. Physicals from fall sports should already be on file in ParentVue. More information can be found on the Cobb County School District Athletics page located HERE.
All new high school swimmers/divers will need to tryout.
*Girls must wear a one-piece swimsuit.
Athletes that make their team, along with their parents, will need to attend the 'Meet the Teams' info meeting, Oct. 20, 1-3pm in the PAC at Campbell.
All potential athletes must provide their own transportation to the pool. Coaches will not drive athletes or coordinate transportation.

Tryouts - Swimmers
Swim Tryouts on Monday Oct. 7th, 2024 will begin at 6:30pm at the Cobb Aquatic Center. Tryouts for athletes in Band and fall sports (XC, Volleyball, Softball, Football, Cheer) will be scheduled once their commitment is over. It is important to understand that our teams cannot take every athlete that comes to tryouts.
Several factors will be considered for cuts:
- Swimmers must be proficient in at least two strokes
- Swimmers should be skilled with block diving and turns
- Lane space for practices
- The Spartans Coaching Staff will make the final decision on all athletes
Tryouts - Divers
Dive Tryouts on Monday Oct. 7th, 2024 will begin at 7pm at the Cobb Aquatic Center. Tryouts for athletes in Band and fall sports (XC, Volleyball, Softball, Football, Cheer) will be scheduled once their commitment is over.
- A Hard Copy of Diver Physicals is REQUIRED for Tryouts
- Divers will be chosen for their team after conferring with Dive Coaches
- The Spartans Coaching Staff will make the final decision on all athletes
